This week we had fun exploring and learning about pond life and what lives in a pond. The kids enjoyed visiting the discovery studio where they had hands on sensory water play with plastic toads , lily pads , fish and mini fishing poles what a blast. They also enjoyed learning about tadpoles, frogs and turtles. Next week will move on to Ocean life. It will be our last theme for this school year. We have also been reviewing our Colors, shapes , numbers and letters.
Make sure to look over the Camp Ki Tov forms that were sent home with your child today and be sure to sign your little one up for a fun filled summer camp experience!
- Friday May 16th Spring photos
- Tuesday May 20th Water play day ( Please sign and return sunscreen consent form)
- Friday May 23rd End of the year Conferences
Note: We will be having a end of the year Ice cream party to celebrate a wonderful year together!
I will be sending a letter home next week with more info about the party.
We have also purchased sand pails for the SUMMER IN A BUCKET swap.
Ms Angela and I are asking that each parent to send in Ten items with their child to help fill these buckets.
Some examples are as follows.
Dollar Store items:
- sidewalk chalk
- fruit snacks
- sand toys
- small board books
- small coloring books or crayon packs
Ms Angela and I would like to keep this as budget friendly as possible, and suggest getting these items at either the dollar store or the dollar bin at Target. Many of these items come several to a package, and would be perfect for small hands.
We look forward to a fun week ahead.
